According to Eurohoops calculations, 41 NBAers should participate in EuroBasket 2022, including 5 French.
This number can obviously vary at the margin. Among the stars planned are Nikola Jokic (Serbia), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece), Luka Doncic (Slovenia), and of course Rudy Gobert.
The France team should include Evan Fournier (New York Knicks), Rudy Gobert (Minnesota Timberwolves), Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot (Atlanta Hawks), Théo Maledon (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Frank Ntilikina (Dallas Mavericks), even if the latter not sure about going to Germany.
Germany and Turkey have 4 NBA players, and – a sign of the times – Serbia and Spain only 3.
