Carsen Edwards to Turkey?

As Nando De Colo left for ASVEL, the Fenerbahce needs reinforcements on its back lines. Thus, after recruiting Scottie Wilbekin, it is rumored that the reigning Turkish champions would have their sights on Carsen Edwards.

Selected in 33rd position during the 2019 Draft, this pocket “combo guard” (1m80) has never managed to win across the Atlantic, both in Boston and Detroit (3.7 career average points). On the other hand, in the G-League, he knew how to make all his qualities as a scorer speak, finishing last season’s top scorer, with his 26.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.4 interceptions on average (46% on shots, 38 % at 3-pts and 83% on throws).

Like Mike James, Elie Okobo or even Shane Larkin, Carsen Edwards could therefore take advantage of a successful experience in Europe to raise his popularity rating. And so better come back to the NBA in the next few years?
