Jay-Z and Jack Dorsey fund access to training
Jack Dorseythe founder of Block and Twitter, as well as the singer Jay Z, fund Bitcoin (BTC) courses. This initiative, dubbedThe Bitcoin Academy», is addressed to the inhabitants of Marcy Houses, a district of Brooklyn, which saw the singer grow up.
Lessons will be free and delivered online from June 22 until September 7. They are Lamar Wilson, founder of the site “Black Bitcoin Billionaireand Najah Roberts, founder of the Crypto Blockchain Plug exchange, who will lead the trainings.
Beyond cryptocurrencies, the goal of all of this is to address the lack of financial educationas presented on the home page of the site:

Give everyone a chance
Through this initiative, Jay-Z and Jack Dorsey intend to go beyond simple training. And for good reason, they go up to provide internet accessfor those in need, as the entrepreneur explains:
“Education is our starting point. It’s not just about Bitcoin [mais] local economies and self-confidence. Classes are free for all Marcy residents, including children. And to make it easier for you, we provide devices and data plans to anyone who needs them. »
As this quote mentions, children will indeed be welcome too. This happens in particular through a program called “Crypto Kids Campwhich will be aimed at 5 – 17 year olds, for two Saturdays.
In addition to online courses, face-to-face interventions are also to be expected. They will take place two evenings a week in the Marcy Houses neighborhood and the meal will be served.
In his philosophy,The Bitcoin Academy” connects at the initial values of Bitcoin, namely, to allow everyone to manage their finances. This program goes even further, by also providing the necessary logistics, so that even disadvantaged people have a chance.
If vectors such as sports advertising or intuitive exchange platforms necessarily contribute to democratization, training undoubtedly remains the most powerful vehicle.
