On June 4, François Hollande and Julie Gayet said “yes” to life in Tulle. This surprise wedding was celebrated in an intimate way, as our colleagues from The mountain. Bernard Combre, mayor of the town who received the former President of the Republic and his wife, proceeded to the civil union: “Celebrating a wedding is always a unique moment for me. I like to unite those who love each other. On Saturday June 4, François and Julie were married in Tulle, in their city of hearts. It is with infinite happiness and emotion that I proceeded to their union”he wrote on Instagram.
Since then, some photos have been published, in particular one where one can see François Hollande signing the registers of the civil status. But why didn’t Julie Gayet do it too? According to Bertrand Deckers, columnist in Do not touch My TVthe justification lies with the principal concerned: “We see that it is he who signs the registers and not her because she is left-handed Julie Gayet, she has a little problem with her left-handed side, that’s why we see that it is he who sign the registerhe confides on the set of C8Friday, June 10.
