On the double A terrace, Greg chambers Mehdi about their defeat against Teyssier. According to the clerk of Landiras, their victory was largely deserved because his creation was very good. Axel interferes in the conversation and Greg does not miss the opportunity to ask him if his uncle’s victory has at least allowed him to recover his wife. At this time, the Teyssier family arrives at the institute and is greeted with thunderous applause.

Shortly after, Emmanuel confides in Constance that he didn’t think she would choose her dessert. The latter points out to him that it is not only his. Indeed, Constance is happy that he listened to the recommendations of his children before specifying that they formed a real family. As Teyssier points out that someone was missing to form this perfect portrait, Constance makes things clear with her husband: if she chose her dessert, that does not mean that they will get back together. Right now, she needs time to think.

Meanwhile, Chief Cardone confides to Louis that she does not intend to drop the case when Landiras joins them. Since he has done his part of the bargain, the latter awaits his reward. However, Annabelle doesn’t see things the same way. Teyssier having won the victory, their pact no longer holds. While the chef and Louis openly make fun of him, Zacharie realizes he’s been tricked when Célia overhears them talking.

Later, Zacharie proposes to Constance to leave with him far from the institute. Her children being grown, the professor points out to her that nothing keeps her here anymore. Only, Constance needs a little time to think about it.

At the same time, Célia tells Theo that she heard Landiras say that he had been swept away by Chief Cardone and Louis. Théo knew that his father suspected Zacharie and Anabelle of wanting to trap him. This is why he intends to have a discussion with Louis in order to clarify the situation.

Before leaving, Chef Cardone pays a last visit to Teyssier. But the two chefs leave each other a few weeks before meeting for the final of the national pastry competition. After once again refusing his proposal, Teyssier declares that he has seen through his game. Emmanuel’s perspicacity greatly amuses Annabelle who reveals to him that Zacharie was also conspiring behind his back. An announcement that upsets the director.

For his part, Theo confronts Louis. The latter completely denies his accusations but Emmanuel’s son threatens him to throw everything at his sister. At the foot of the wall, he tells her the truth.

On returning home, Theo reports to his father about his exchange with Louis. If Teyssier knew that Landiras was involved, he was however not aware that the chef Cardone had promised him a pastry shop in Paris. Teyssier asks his son to keep this information to himself. Indeed, the latter does not intend to swing this information anyhow. But one thing is certain, Zacharie is screwed.

Tom and Amber are revising for the end-of-year exams when Kelly joins them and announces that they will have duck in the cooking test. Indeed, Laetitia came across the list of ingredients that was going to be ordered for the event. With this information, the trio prepares a plan of attack.

In the kitchen, the three apprentice chefs try several recipes from Auguste Armand but quickly find themselves in difficulty.

A little later, Lionel joins Kelly in the kitchen and tries to find out why there is so much duck. After having put him in the confidence, the young woman seeks the help of her boyfriend to prepare for the exams.

Lionel therefore asks Greg to support him. As he refuses, Lionel ends up confessing to him that Kelly is aware that the duck is going to fall during the test. Greg cheers him on and regrets that his friend didn’t learn his lesson after the events of last year. Unsurprisingly, he categorically refuses to be involved in this. For him, it’s Lionel the duck in this story.

Rose brings the third years together and says she wants to talk to them individually about what awaits them after institute and the different paths available to them. Anaïs is the first to pass. The Sybarite being no longer relevant, Rose asks her if she applied elsewhere. The student confides in him that she no longer wants to be a butler. Indeed, the young woman wishes to turn more towards cooking, her first love. She even has an idea: to create a vegan concept store. But between classes, exams and her personal life, she doesn’t have time to develop it. Moreover, she does not feel able to do it alone after her graduation. Touched by his testimony, Rose seems to have an idea to accompany him in his project.

In cooking class, Clotilde tastes Anaïs’ dish. Finding it delicious, she congratulates the young woman on her creation. The chef notices that her student seems moved by her compliments. Indeed, Anaïs had not had so many compliments for one of her dishes for a long time. When Clotilde leaves, Anaïs confides in Salomé that she doesn’t know what to do next year, but her best friend completely shares her fears. She also does not want to work in someone else’s restaurant, she would like to create her own establishment and her own menu. Anaïs pushes her to get started but Salomé thinks that she doesn’t yet have a precise enough style to do so.

Not far from there, Rose talks to Antoine about her exchanges with the students. She explains that some don’t know what to do after graduation and others are afraid of being independent. Rose seems to have an idea in mind to help them and asks her companion to organize a teaching meeting the next day to discuss several options.
