On the Touche plateau not at my post this Thursday, June 9, Cyril Hanouna and Géraldine Maillet have once again taken the beak. The tone rose between the host and the columnist.
The tone is again raised between Cyril Hanouna and Géraldine Maillet. A few weeks after their violent clash, the host and the columnist of Touche pas à mon poste were angry about the violence that took place at the Stade de France during the Champions League final. And if Gilles Verdez is delighted that the CCTV images have been destroyed, Géraldine Maillet is outraged. “The images are available for seven days. They are then automatically destroyed. We should have had a requisition to provide them to the different populations”, announced Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional relations for the French Football Federation, before the Senate on Thursday 9 June. On the set of TPMP, Gilles Verdez explained to be happy with this destruction of images. Something to annoy Géraldine Maillet.
“Gilles has been lying from the start and he instrumentalizes you. And I’m very angry with him”, began by launching Géraldine Maillet to Cyril Hanouna. A remark that does not have any more to the moderator. “I’ll tell you the truth, I think it’s your guy who is instrumentalizing you because he tweeted again”he replied, before reading Daniel Riolo’s tweet on the subject: “For the English who file a complaint it’s worse than an insult… what a horror! The madmen who say it’s the fault of the English will continue the fake news! And no one will jump after such a scandal ?” But the allusion to his companion displeased the columnist, who did not fail to challenge the host. “So that means that I’m submissive to my boyfriend? You who are the great defender of the cause of women?”she annoyed.
Géraldine Maillet: this remark from Cyril Hanouna which “hurt” him
“Stop, be a little cool. Stop taking everything at face value. (…) I hope you’ll shut your mouth”, concluded Cyril Hanouna. In any case, this estrangement reminds viewers of the huge clash that pitted them a few weeks ago. “The lesson givers like you who are going to tell the French ‘We have to vote for so and so’, we’re fed up!’, Cyril Hanouna got angry just before the first round of the presidential election. You are still giving lessons. Respect the French a little (…) Let me speak, you are unbearable! The French, they do what they want. They are not like you with a comfortable salary, with a very good life…” The next day, the columnist added: “There was a harassment side, a little relentlessness, it hurt me, I didn’t understand”.
