We don’t know which is the most beautiful open-air film festival in the world, but Cinéma Paradiso, in the Cour Carrée du Louvre, is necessarily one of the top. This time, these four evenings organized jointly by the Louvre and MK2, from July 15 to 18, return without flat, without limitation, without deprivation, and without fear. Just the party. In homage to Giuseppe Tornatore’s film, “Cinema Paradiso”, whose title MK2 took over to organize this festival, a brand that travels and has already been organized at the Grand Palais, the public is invited to an atmosphere.

Volcanic atmosphere and airy notes

The festival opens on Friday, July 15 at nightfall with a preview, “Fire of Love”, a cosmic documentary by Sara Dosa devoted to the couple of volcanologists Katia and Maurice Krafft, before its theatrical release. An ultra-spectacular ode to two passionate people who died as they had lived, on June 3, 1991, in the eruption of a volcano in Japan, caught in a burning cloud while their last film highlighted risk prevention.
