The scene caused controversy on social networks; a Disneyland Paris employee interrupts a marriage proposal in front of the castle in the park. Some salute the good sense of the employee when others are revolted to see this marriage proposal ruined.
Propose to Disneyland? We won’t take it back… Friday, June 3, an American visiting Disneyland Paris wanted to play the originality card by asking for his girlfriend’s hand inside the park. Apart from a refusal on the part of the chosen one, nothing could go wrong for the young man, at least in theory. No sooner has he put his knee on the ground, and presented the ring to his other half, than a park employee appears and interrupts the moment, wanting to be magical.
Wearing the traditional Mickey ears, symbol of the park, the employee invites the young couple to do this further away, away from potentially dangerous machinery.
Disneyland Paris apologizes after employee ruins wedding proposal:

As seen in the video, the employee steals the ring just as the crowd can be heard cheering. With a wave of his arm, he invites the couple to descend from the platform on which he was standing. “It’s great, but here it will be even better,” he told them.
Indeed, the place contained pyrotechnic devices, which could be triggered at any time. While he may have ruined the marriage proposal, he also potentially saved their lives.
It was enough to trigger a controversy and divide social networks between those deploring a “waste” moment and others for whom the employee only did “his job”.

People who talk about common sense when real common sense might have been to listen to the employee when he told them not to go on this stage filled with pyrotechnics? Especially since Disney offers a marriage proposal reservation service. https://t.co/bOkvYVv8Ji

The Newsweek newspaper reports that the park has apologized following the incident. “We regret the way this was handled,” the Disneyland spokesperson said. “We apologized to the couple involved and offered to work things out,” he concluded.
Know that Disneyland offers supervised offers to make your marriage proposal in the rules of the art. The “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings” service can manage the event from A to Z.
