The Tour de France, passing through Lorraine

Lorraine is spoiled for this 2022 edition of the Tour de France! The 6th stage of the men’s Tour will indeed arrive in Longwy, and the 7th stage will start from Tomblaine, near Nancy, and will cross part of Lorraine before arriving at La Planche des Belles Filles in Haute-Saône. Then the Women’s Tour will reward us with a 100% Lorraine stage with a start in Bar-le-Duc and a finish in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges. Before leaving the next day from this same city. Beautiful holidays in anticipation!

> Male round: the Binche – Longwy stage will take place July 7the Tomblaine stage – Planche des Belles Filles July 8. Find out if the stage passes through your home.

> Women’s round: the Bar-le-Duc – Saint-Dié-des-Vosges stage will take place July 28 and the Saint-Dié des-Vosges – Rosheim stage July 29.

“RenaissanceS”, street arts festival in Bar-le-Duc

Shows, wanderings, ephemeral works… the RenaissanceS festival is held as usual during the first weekend of July. 40 companies for a real open-air theatre, which you can enjoy July 1, 2 and 3.

“Constellations”, the international festival of digital arts in Metz

Projections, sound and light, street art, shows, concerts and exhibitions… Artists from all over the world come to Metz to unveil their original creations in a unique architectural and urban heritage. Above all, don’t miss the impressive video mapping on Saint-Étienne Cathedral, which will for the first time be made up of two new 7-minute creations.

> The festival is held from June 23 to September 3 in the streets of Messina.

The Francofolies of Esch-sur-Alzette

We cheat a little for this festival which is not located in Lorraine, but in our Luxembourg neighbors. But how to deprive yourself of the crazy programming of the Francofolies d’Esch-sur-Alzette: Aldebert, Juliette Armanet, PNL, Clara Luciani, Grand Corps Malade, Bon Entendeur, Roméo Elvis, Eddy De Pretto, Vladimir Cauchemar, Damso and many more others, just that!

“Rendez-vous Place Stanislas”, Nancy’s sound and light show

Difficult to find more essential in the ducal city. Every summer, Place Stanislas becomes the setting for an extraordinary video projection show. In 2022, you will discover a brand new, completely new show.

> The sound and light is to discover every evening, at 10:45 p.m. from June 17 to August 15then at 10 p.m. from August 16 to September 11.

Hop Hop Hop, the open-air show in the streets of Metz

For ten days, a string of actors, artists and other troubadours will take over the streets of Metz for the Metz open-air show festival, Hop Hop Hop.

From flames to light, sound and light event in Verdun

It is nothing less than the greatest sound and light show in Europe on the Great War. A visual and sound immersion in the heart of the fighting with huge projections, impressive sets, 250 actors and spectacular special effects.

The happy Lapalette festival, in Maron

Organized by an association of young enthusiasts, the Lapalette festival sets its scene on the banks of the Moselle in Maron. Shows, entertainment, but also and above all concerts are to be discovered over 3 days. This year’s lineup has not yet been announced.

The decorations are made (obviously) in pallets by the happy band of volunteers. A festival of friends which attracts more and more curious people, but which keeps its soul!

The Rues et Cies festival in Épinal

For three days, the heart of Épinal will beat to the rhythm of the Rues et Cies festival, through a rich, diversified programme, a fine showcase of creation for the street. On the program: theatre, clown, dance, brass band, absurd cabaret, acrobatic show, street circus,… around forty shows will be offered to the public.

> The festival is held June 10, 11 and 12, 2022 in Epinal.

“Watts à Bar”, music festival in Bar-le-Duc

The music festival located in the heart of Bar-le-Duc, in the setting of the park of Marbeaumont, returns for its 11th edition. On the program, something to delight fans of electro with The Bloody Beetroots, Etienne de Crécy and Arnaud Rebotini, but also of all musical genres thanks to an eclectic programme.

The Pied Orange music festival, in the Vosges

From street theatre, to song, with a predominance of brass, electro and Armenian folklore, the program for this 3rd Pied Orange is rich. Marcel and his orchestra, Les Ogres de Barback, Ludwig von 88, Dan Gharibian trio or even the Vetex national orchestra… The line-up is choice.
