Invited to 50’Inside, Nathalie Marquay confided in the criticisms she received when her husband, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, left 13 hours from TF1.
On March 2, France mourns the disappearance of Jean-Pierre Pernaut. The former presenter of 13 hours of TF1 left behind him, Nathalie Marquay, his wife and his children in an immense sorrow. On the occasion of his interview in the Portrait that the issue 50’Inside dedicated to him, the former Miss France returned to the lack she feels since the death of the father of her children. But that’s not all : Nathalie Marquay confided in the departure of Jean-Pierre Pernaut from the presentation of the 13 hours from TF1. Indeed, she would have advised her husband to leave the Journal to be able to rest. “Even if he was ready, he was not ready. But at the same time, I wanted him to benefit”, she begins by declaring.
The opportunity for Tom and Lou’s mother to come back to the criticisms she received: “There are a lot of people who were angry with me. At the start, there were a lot of people who said to me ‘how can you take it away from us from 1 p.m.’ Afterwards people understood it but with time. At the beginning, it was very violent. He was very tired. He got up every morning at 6 a.m. It’s huge at 71 years old “. Today, the anger has dissipated and Jean-Pierre Pernaut fans support Nathalie Marquay : “Today people grab me by the arm and hug me. They cry. They tell me ‘we loved your husband so much be brave’. I feel like half of Jean -Rock”.
Nathalie Marquay: “I know he is with me”
Very moved, the widow of Jean-Pierre Pernaut talked about how much she misses her husband : “I’m told that over time it passes and the more time passes and frankly, no, I miss him. I know he’s with me, but it’s not having him in my arms, not being able to kiss her, to tell her what I did all day, to laugh together, to prepare her favorite little dishes”she confided to Nikos Aliagas.
